Events / Retreats

While we love our chapter here at RPI, we highly value our chances to gather with other chapters of IVCF in fellowship, as well. InterVarsity hosts two big retreats (Selah in the fall and Basileia in the spring) for the schools in our regions, in addition to providing Spring Break service opportunities and hosting a national missions conference for students.

When faced with the cost of college and other academic or extracurricular expenses, we know that the cost of a conference can sometimes be a hindrance. Don't let that stop you from coming to hear what God has to say! Scholarships are available to help with the cost of attending; contact Niki Campbell, our IVCF staff worker if you have any questions. This scholarship money can only be used for retreats, so if you don't claim it, it'll just sit there. People donate to this fund specifically to make your attendance at these retreats possible.

Outreach Events

Hi incoming freshmen!! We're so excited to meet you!! We host lots of events throughout the year, but as we gear up for the start of the fall, we will be hosting an online game night for y'all to come ask questions and meet our chapter! See our calendar for details!

We've been holding many outreach events on campus including:

Retreats

Selah (Fall Weekend)

Dates: Oct 6 - Oct 8, 2023

This weekend long retreat offers a chance to gather with students across ALL of the InterVarsity fellowships in NJ/NY. Selah is a weekend in a busy time of the school year designed to help students rest, recharge, and make space to spend time with Jesus. Selah is a time to meet with God even during a busy time, and to get a chance to speak with other students from all walks of faith about their experiences!

Basileia (Summer)

Dates: May 11 - May 15, 2023

This week-long retreat offers a chance to gather with the 70+ InterVarsity fellowships in NJ/NY. Basileia is a week-long conference designed so that your whole campus fellowship can attend and benefit. Basileia is a time for worshipping God, studying the Bible, broadening your vision, and deepening your faith, as well as building community with your campus chapter.
