Small Groups - Spring 2008
The concept of a "Small Group" is simple - it's a group that's small. But it's also far
more than that. Small groups are a chance to experience and learn about God in a whole
new way. They're an opportunity to build off of one another, to support and to be
supported. They're a microcosm of the community of Christ. In short, they're amazing!
Because everyone is different, there are many different types of groups you can join,
depending on who you are and what you're interested in. Whatever your need, you'll probably
find one that will work for you. So please join!
Below are the various exciting groups available this semester! Click any group to see more
detailed information. If you have any questions, contact our Small Group
Coordinator, Jillian Metzger.
Men's Small GroupWednesday3-5 PM
Small Group Leader(s): Brandon Andreola, Robert Piazza
Location: Warren Lounge (map)
We guys were created with certain mental, emotional, verbal, and social tendencies and women with others. It's not that we cannot respond according to feelings or that we do not listen with sensitivity, its just that these things are not usually automatic as part of our "guy" nature. This semester we will together investigate this and other ways that God has wired us differently, what our responsibilities are as such, and how understanding these key differences can help us as men to understand and especially communicate with others.

Have you ever wondered “what on earth am I here for?” Many people search for and ponder the meaning and purpose of life for the entirety of their lives and never find an answer. Fortunately, there is an alternative to speculation about the meaning and purpose of life. We can turn to what God has revealed about the purposes of life in his word. Join us as we embark on a journey to discover God’s purpose and calling on our lives. Expect to grow and be challenged. Believers and non-believers are welcome.

Join us for an in-depth look into the scientific accuracy of God's Word as well as what the Bible has to say about tough scientific questions. Learn how to defend your faith on a campus and in a world that is searching for answers to life's questions in science. We'll be looking at Creation vs. Evolution, the Flood, dinosaurs, historical accounts, prophecy, miraculous events, apparent contradictions, and lots more. We're looking for people who are really interested in the scientific aspect of the Bible who aren't afraid to discuss some pretty controversial topics.
