While we love our chapter here at RPI, we highly value our chances to gather with other chapters of IVCF in fellowship, as well. InterVarsity hosts two big retreats (one in the fall and one in the spring) for the schools in our regions, in addition to providing Spring Break service opportunities and hosting a national missions conference for students.
When faced with the cost of college and other academic or extracurricular expenses, we know that the cost of a conference can sometimes be a hindrance. Don't let that stop you from coming to hear what God has to say! Scholarships are available to help with the cost of attending; contact Niki Campbell, our IVCF staff worker if you have any questions. This scholarship money can only be used for retreats, so if you don't claim it, it'll just sit there. People donate to this fund specifically to make your attendance at these retreats possible.
NYCUP - Practicing Justice (March 2017 Spring Break)
IVCF from New York and New Jersey will gather together in NYC to help the Bowery Mission. Each day we will dive into scripture to see what God has to say about who we are and what we are to do in the world, particularly when it comes to homelessness, sex-trafficking and labor slavery, exploitation of our planet and other issues on injustice in our work. Then we will respond in concrete, sustainable ways that can be integrated into your everyday life.
Basileia (May 12-18 2018)
This week-long retreat offers a chance to gather with the 70+ InterVarsity fellowships in NJ/NY. Basileia is a week-long multi-track conference designed so that your whole campus fellowship can attend and benefit. Some tracks emphasize leadership training, others discipleship. But for all, Basileia is a time for worshipping God, studying the Bible, broadening your vision, and deepening your faith.
